Improper Gym Behavior

I've been to the Newport Fitworks maybe 300 times over the last 2.5 years. There's this 20 something guy who works as a trainer who is always there. I've seen him there maybe 100 times, at least.

So last night after my cardio, I'm chatting with a couple of the regulars, one of whom points to the trainer across the floor who happens to be working out by himself.

As one of the guys I'm chatting with points, he says, "That guy gets a boner every time he works out."

I was incredulous.

So we discretely watched him do two sets of elevated chest lunges (that's what I call them), and sure enough - each time the guy finished, he turned around and faced the gym in his happy state. And it was quite obvious.

Several things crossed my mind. First, I must be the most unobservant person on the face of the planet. That trait is genetic and I get it from my dad. Secondly, I thought it was hysterical. Thirdly, why the hell would someone be so obvious about it, particularly at the gym? I may be wrong, but I doubt too many women would be impressed by it.

Yet another dead-end thread I've started. I just felt like sharing.

can't says i've ever heard of this happening at any gym I belong to. Hmmm....

I wrote it on a piece of paper, put it in a sealed envelope, and handed my prediction to a trustworthy coworker. If you would like me to send you this sealed, notorized envelope, I'll be more than happy to do so.
